About YA4C

Youth In Action For Christ (YA4C) is a Non-profit, Non-government, non-political, Religious, charitable, Volunteerism, and educational organization registered with the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK), Nyanza Campus, Southern Province, Rwanda.

YA4C was founded on the backdrop of seeing young international students studying in Nyanza being deprived or finding it difficult to worship and build intimacy with God because of reasons such as language barriers, lack of understanding and correlation in local churches, and distance from English-speaking churches. On October 3, 2022, the first meeting was held on UNILAK Nyanza campus with the decision to start hosting regular Bible studies every Sunday, thereby leading to the establishment of the organization. The five founding members of YA4C are: 1. Bro. Varney Bedell-Didno 2. Bro. Gerald Manwiopia 3. Bro. Falcon Dayrell 4. Bro. Kuku Lekpeyee 5. Sis. Ruthie Karmie
